Burbank Avenue Pedestrian Path Bids Under Review C07009a

General Work Description: The work to be done, in general, consists of the construction of 900 linear feet of 5-foot wide asphalt concrete pedestrian pathway, separated from the roadway by an asphalt concrete berm on the west side of Burbank Avenue from Hughes Avenue to Sebastopol Road and approximately 2,500 linear feet of pedestrian pathway extending south from the school parcel along the easterly side to the existing cross walk at Hearn Avenue. The project will include roadway ditch regarding and the installation or replacement of drainage culverts; the construction of water treatment swales, curb ramp, and pedestrian lighting. A maintenance asphalt overly along the easterly side of Burbank Avenue in front of the school and northerly for the full width to Sebastopol Road is included as an alternate bid.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 100A, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California 95403 on December 7, 2011, until the hour of 2:00 p.m. (according to the wall clock in the reception area of the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors). They then will be transferred to a predetermined meeting room designated by the Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Sonoma County Director of Transportation and Public Works or his designee. The Sonoma County Director of Public Works will review the bids and refer the bids to the Board of Supervisors to consider awarding the project within 60 days of bid opening.

Carriage Lane Storm Drain Drainage Inlet Replacement Awarded C07007

General Work Description:The work to be done consists, in general, of construction of pipe headwall, screened inlet and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions shall be performed.

Western Avenue Bike Shoulder Widening Under Construction C03408
