TO PLANHOLDERS AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING RESTROOM REMODEL COUNTY PROJECT NO. W09576 ADDENDUM NO. 4 **NOTE: This Addendum No. 4 contains the attachment changes that were to be a part of Addendum No. 3. Addendum No. 3 will only consist of the cover page that was Faxed July 25, 2006. ** I. Change to the Notice Inviting Bids: Section B. of the Notice Inviting Bids has been changed as follows: "B. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent of the County of Sonoma, Room 208A, 2300 County Center Drive, Santa Rosa, California 95403 on August 17, 2006, until the hour of 2:00 p.m., where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Purchasing Agent or his designee." II. Changes to the Engineer's Estimate: A new Alternate (1C) has been added. Please replace pages SP-3, BB-3, BB-13 and BB-14 with the attached revised pages Add4 Rev. SP-3, Add4 Rev. BB-3, Add4 Rev. BB-13 and BB-14 to reflect the new Alternate addition. III. Changes to the Technical Specifications: A. Section 09310, "Ceramic Tile," has been changed by adding the following: "Slip Sheet in lieu of backer board: Provide slip sheet under thin set ceramic tile conforming to American National Standard For Load Bearing, Bonded, Waterproof Membranes For Thin-Set Ceramic Tile and Dimension Stone Installations (adopted as ANSI A118.10-1993). This is an industry standard for a material that performs both as a slip sheet and as a waterproof membrane." B. Section 10800, "Toilet and Bath Accessories," has been changed by adding a new "Combination Towel/Waste Units" sheet (attached), marked A2 and A2 Alt with the following description: "A-2, A-3 Cut sheet for unit modified to recessed - new cut sheet provided for A2/A2 Alternate." IV. Changes to the Plans: Please replace Plans Sheet Nos. T-1, A-1, and A-2 with the attached Revised Plan Sheets. V. Clarification: The 1st order of work shall be for the Contractor to place the order to materials as shown on the plans and to finalize permits. County has made application, requested a determination of infeasibility, and paid fees for the required permits. Contractor shall finalize and pick up permits. Contractor shall have 10 days from Notice to Proceed to submit to Engineer a statement of anticipated delivery dates for materials from the vendor. Contractor shall have 10 days to commence work from the last delivery date of the materials. This date will be the formal start date and will commence the 15 working days allowed under the contract. Please fill out "Addendum Acknowledgment" form of the Bidder's Book on page BB-4, verifying your receipt of this Addendum No. 4. DAVID
