NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF

FAA Airport Improvement Program 3-06-0241-21

CHARLES M. SCHULZ - SONOMA COUNTY AIRPORT

SERVICE ROAD, TAXIWAY OVERLAY, 
AND PAVEMENT REPAIR

COUNTY PROJECT NO. W09561 

ADDENDUM NO. 2 

I.     Changes to Division IV, Section 1, Miscellaneous Provisions for Airport Construction: 

        A.     In Section 1-1.3B, General Limitations, add the following subparagraph 5:

             "5. Truck Weight Limitations: Trucks used to haul excess materials to the spoils site are restricted to H-20 load limitations on airfield pavements and airport roads."

        B.      In Section 1-1.4D, Construction Sequencing, change subparagraph 3 to read as follows: 

"3. Hauling of excess materials to the spoils site must be done under escort by airport personnel.  Only two (2) airport-operated escort vehicles will be provided to the Contractor during hauling operations.  The Contractor shall sequence loading, hauling and dumping as required to ensure that all trucks operating individually or in groups and using the airfield haul routes are escorted.  Trucks must be equipped with flashing beacons per Section 1-1.7.  Haul to the spoils site shall be between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily and follow approved access and haul routes."
