NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS  
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
 

   BUTLER HANGAR ROOF COATING
AT
   CHARLES M. SCHULZ–SONOMA COUNTY AIRPORT

  COUNTY PROJECT NO. W09558 

ADDENDUM NO. 1  

Attention is called to the fact that the following changes have been made to the above referenced bid: 

1.  BID DUE DATE IS CHANGED TOApril 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.

2.  Page SP-5, Section 2-1.01, "General," paragraph 4, which reads:  "The first sentence of the second paragraph, Section 1-1.05, 'Proposal Forms,' of the Standard Specifications," is hereby deleted.

3.  Page SP-5, Section 2-1.01, "General," paragraph 6, which reads:  "The proposal guaranty shall be made payable to County of Sonoma," and paragraph 7, which reads:  "The form of Bidder's Bond mentioned in the last paragraph in Section 21-1.07, "Proposal Guaranty," of the Standard Specifications, will be found following the signature page of the proposal annexed hereto," are hereby deleted.

4.  Page SP-7, Section 3-1.01A, paragraph 1, "The bonds shall be submitted on the forms attached in Bidder's Book," and paragraph 2, which reads:  "The second paragraph of Section 3-1.02,"Contract Bonds," are hereby deleted.

5.  Add:  Bid Bond.
A Bid Bond must accompany all bids.  Bond shall be submitted on the form provided with this Addendum and replaces Page BB-11.

6.  Fill out and include with your bid the "Addendum Adknowledgment," form in the Bidder's Book on page BB-4, verifying your receipt of this Addendum.

7.  The attached "Work Practice Recommendations" is hereby incorporated into the specifications for the Butler Hangar Roof Coating Project.

8.  Fax Bids will not be accepted.

If your firm is the successful Bidder, this Addendum must be acknowledged in writing before a purchase order can be issued.
