NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS AIRPORT ACCESS ROAD,
TAXIWAYS, COUNTY PROJECT NO. W09538 ADDENDUM NO. 2 I. Changes to Section 00020, Notice Inviting Bids:
II. Changes to Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders: A. In Article 17, "Disadvantaged Business Enterprises," change the amount of DBE goals for this project to seven percent (7%). III. Changes to Section 00300, Bid Form: A. Change Item 8, "12-inch HDPE Storm Drain Pipe," from 340 to 180 lineal feet. B. Add Item 8-b, "18-inch HDPE Storm Drain Pipe," with a total bid quantity of 160 lineal feet. C. Change Item 19, "Fire Hydrant Assembly," from one (1) each to a total bid quantity of two (2) each. D. Delete Item 27, "Empty 3-inch Dia. PVC Conduit with Caps," and renumber remaining bid items as 27 through 34. Please replace Section 00300, Bid Form, pages 1 and 2 of 4 with the attached revised pages (Add2 Rev. 1 of 4, and Add2 Rev. 2 of 4) to reflect these changes. IV. Changes to Section 00500, Agreement Form: A. In Section 3.3, "Liquidated Damages," change the liquidated damages amount from $1,500 to $500. V. Changes to Division IV, Special Site Conditions: A. In Section 1-1.4A, "Hangar Site Scope of Work," change the fifth paragraph to read: "In the hangar area, there will be interaction between the two CONTRACTORS. the SITE CONTRACTOR will grade the entire area, place engineered fill through out the area, install the primary storm drainage, place 6 inches of aggregate baserock, and grade the site to drain. The SITE CONTRACTOR shall then winterize the hangar site." B. In Section 1-15D, "Construction Sequencing," change Item 3B to read: "Site Clearing. This work shall include stripping the upper 12 inches of in-place soil and all wood chips." VI. Changes to Construction Drawings: A. Sheet 3 - At the top of the sheet, change "Site Prep Area I-B" to "Site Prep Area III-B." B. Sheet 5 - Change detail reference for concrete valley gutter from E-7 to F-9, and change section reference at access road Station 12+50 from A-5 to A-9. D. Sheet 6 - Change detail reference for concrete curb at top center of plan view from G-9 to E-9, and change section reference at access road Station 15+75 from A-6 to B-9. E. Sheet 7 - In sections A and B, existing pavements require sawcutting and removal of 12 inches of existing asphalt along the joining line with new asphalt pavements and paved with new asphalt. F. Sheet 8 - At the top of the sheet, change "New 12-inch SD, Typ., S=0.004" to "New 18-inch storm drain, S=0.004." Also, add note pointing to section of storm drain between drop inlet at access road Station 13+25 (offset 167' right and drop inlet offset 310' right) to read, "New 18-inch storm drain, S=0.004." Note: All other storm drain pipes remain 12-inch diameter.
