A.  PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH is modified in part to read, "The mandatory pre-bid walk-through is rescheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2002.  The pre-bid walk-through originally scheduled for Thursday March 14, 2002, was cancelled as plans and specifications were not available prior to that date.  The conference will commence within the Refuse Operations Headquarters Building, Central Landfill, 500 Mecham Road, Petaluma, CA 94952.  BIDDERS NOT ATTENDING THIS MANDATORY MEETING WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO BID ON THE PROJECT.  ORANGE SAFETY VESTS WILL BE REQUIRED IN THE FIELD TO OBSERVE SITE CONDITIONS.  Representatives from theCounty and Geosyntec Consultants will be present to discuss the project, receive questions, and conduct a tour of the project.  At all other times, bidders' access to the Central Landfill....."

B.  GENERAL INFORMATION, Section B is modified in part to read, "Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 100A, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California, 95403, until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at which time they will be transferred to the County Administrator's Office Conference Room where they will be publicly opened........."
