CANON MANOR WEST ASSESSMENT DISTRICT IMPROVEMENTS

ADDENDUM NO. 6

I.    Changes to Plans and Special Provisions 

      Changes to Plans and Special Provisions as per attached sheets.

Please fill out the Addendum Acknowledgment sheet (page BB-9 of the Bidder's Book, Volume 1 of 3) verifying your receipt of this Addendum (Addendum No. 6).

A. Book 1 of 3, Page SP-57, after 10-1.16 "Guaranty:" the following 10-1.17 "Seal Coat (Addendum No. 6) is added.

"10-1.17  SEAL COAT (Addendum No. 6): Seal coat shall be the double type and shall conform to the provisions in Section 37-1, "Seal Coats," of the Standard Specifications and these special provisions."

B. Book 1 of 3, Page EE-4 Page BB-7, and Page BB-32 "Engineer’s Estimate"Schedule B Alternate 2 amend Item No. 1 "Screenings" Quantity to read 1,080.00 TON, and Item No. 2 "Asphalt Emulsion (Seal Coat) Quantity to read 108.00 TON.

C. Information Purpose Only

Field Office Location

Don Codding (phone # 707 584-7550 Ext 139) has indicated a willingness to have the Field Office trailer located on his property located near the intersection of Bodway and Camino Colegio. The Bidder shall make all necessary arrangements with property owner where every the Bidder elects to place field office.

D. Book 2 of 3, Page 02532-9 Section 02532 "HDPE Force Main" is amended by the following:

"Delete the requirement to Television Inspection of the Force Main."

E. Book 2 of 3, Page 02830-1 Section 02830 "Chain Link Fence" is amended by the following:

1. End and corner posts should have 2 3/8" OD pipe inside the exterior 2.875" post. There are a total of 4 corner posts and 2 end posts.

2. The depth of the concrete footings for the fence posts are shown on Detail 4 Drawing C-501. The footing diameter is 12" and the concrete extends 6" below the bottom of the fence post.

3. Fence post are galvanized steel. Fence posts (similar to the chain linking) to be PVC coated.

4. Chain link wire is green PVC coated galvanized steel with privacy slats (per note 1 on Detail 4 Drawing C-501).
