NOTICE TO ALL PLANHOLDERS

ADDENDUM NO. 1

 I.            Clarifications from Pre-bid meeting on July 16, 2002: 

            A.   Attached is a copy of the Agenda and a list of questions raised at the pre-bid meeting. 

II.            Changes to the Special Provisions: 

            A.   Pages SP-79, Section 10-1.29A, "Metal Pipe Arch," paragraph 2, is revised to read: 

   Steel Spiral Rib Pipe Arch shall be manufactured 12 Gage bituminous coated galvanized steel or aluminum coated steel in accordance with Caltrans Standard Specifications Section 66-3 and AASHTO Designation M274.  The pipe corrugation profile shall be 3/4" x 3/4" on 7-1/2" spacing. 

III.            Changes to the Engineer's Estimate: 

            A.   Item No. 3, "Traffic Control System," the quantity is changed to l.0. 

            B.   Item No. 4, "Flagging," the quantity is changed to 22,500. 

Please replace pages SP-4, BB-3 and BB-22 with Add1  Rev. SP-4, Add1 Rev. BB-3 and Add1 Rev. BB-22 to reflect these changes. 

Please fill out the Addendum Acknowledgment sheet in the Proposal (page BB-4 of the Bidder's Book) verifying your receipt of this Addendum.
