I.  Changes to the Special Provisions and Engineer's Estimate:

A. Page SP- 39, Section 10-1.01, "Order of Work," paragraph five is revised to read:

"Paving and Replace Asphalt Concrete Pavement on Lakeville Road shall be performed at night.  The Contractor may begin work on this road at 7:00 p.m.  The Contractor must have work completed by 5:00 a.m."

B. Page SP-41, Section 10-1.05, "Hours of Work," the first sentence is revised to read:

"On weekdays the Contractor shall restrict his hours of work to the period between one-half hour after sunrise and one-half hour before sunset, but in no case shall work begin before 7:00 a.m. and end after 7:00 p.m., except for paving and replacing asphalt concrete pavement on Lakeville Road per Section 10-1.01, "Order of Work," in these Special Provisions."

C.  Page SP-49, Section 10-1.12, "Flagging," the following is added:

"Two advance warning flaggers are required, in addition to the work area flaggers, due to the high traffic volume on Lakeville Road."

D.  The "Curved Guard Rail at Driveways" plan is amended to include Note 3, "Guard Rail posts shall be breakaway."  The revised plan is included herein.

A. Item No. 2, "Flagging," the quantity is changed to 18,750.  Please substitute revised pages SP-4, BB-3 and BB-22 to reflect the change.

Please fill out the Addendum Acknowledgment sheet (page BB-4 of the Bidder's Book) verifying your receipt of this Addendum (Addendum No. 1).
