I.                    Changes to the Special Provisions: 

A.                A.  Page SP-38, Section 10-1.09A, "Asphaltic Emulsion," is amended to read: 

Asphaltic emulsion shall be a quick-setting type, Grade CQS1h cationic conforming to the requirements of Section 94, "Asphaltic Emulsions."  The Contractor shall add 2-1/2 percent of latex by weight to the above specified emulsion to create a latex modified emulsion (LMCQS1h).

B.                 B.   Page SP-38, Section 10-1.09B, "Aggregate," the following paragraph is added: 

Section 37-2.20C, "Aggregate," of the Standard Specifications is revised to reduce from 100 percent to 50 percent the proportion of the aggregate to be obtained by crushing rock. 

  C. Page SP-39, Section 10-1.09C, "Placing," the fourth paragraph is amended to read: 

There shall be two application machines on the job and in good working condition at all times.
