ADDENDUM NO. 1

I. Changes to the Plans:

Plan Sheet Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 are revised by this Addendum.

II. Changes to the Special Provisions:

A. Page SP-9, Section 4., "Beginning of Work, Time of Completion and Liquidated Damages," paragraph 6, the address for the Construction Office is changed to:

Construction Office of the Sonoma County
Department of Transportation and Public Works
2300 County Center Drive, Suite B-100
Santa Rosa, CA 95403

B. Page SP-57, Section 10-1.19E, "Imported Borrow," is changed to read:

The portion of imported borrow placed within 1.2 meters of the finished grade shall have a Resistance (R-value) of not less than 15.

C. Page SP-76, Section 10-1.37, "Painted Traffic Stripes and Pavement Markings," the first sentence of paragraph two is revised to read:

Engineer will provide pavement marker and/or stripe layout control points at approximately 30-meter intervals through tangent areas and at approximately 15-meter intervals through curve areas along the plan centerline.

III. Changes to the Engineer's Estimate:

A. Item No. 5, "Remove Traffic Stripe," the quantity is changed to 176.00.

B. Item No. 6, "Remove Roadside Sign," the quantity is changed to 22.00.

C. Item No. 12, "Cold Plane Asphalt Concrete Pavement," the quantity is changed to 1,561.

D. Item No. 21, "Aggregate (Type A Asphalt Concrete, 12.5 mm Maximum Grading)," the quantity is changed to 3,367.

E. Item No. 25, "Roadside Sign," the quantity is changed to 29.00.

F. Item No. 29, "Precast Concrete Inlet (0.6 M x 1.2 M)," the quantity is changed to 4.00.

G. Item No. 41, "150 MM Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe," the quantity is changed to 1,064.50.

H. Item No. 42, "200 MM Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe," the quantity is changed to 285.50.

I. Item No. 44, "Thermoplastic Pavement Marking," the quantity is changed to 137.26.

J. Item No. 45, "Pavement Marker (Non-Reflective)," the quantity is changed to 1,126.00.

K. Item No. 46, "Pavement Marker (Reflective)," the quantity is changed to 295.00

Please replace pages SP-3, SP-4, BB-3, BB-4, BB-15 and BB-16 with Rev. SP-3, Rev. SP-4, Rev. BB-3, Rev. BB-4, Rev. BB-15 and Rev. BB-16 to reflect the changes.

Please fill out the Addendum Acknowledgment sheet in the Proposal (page BB-5 of the Bidder's Book) verifying your receipt of this Addendum.
