Target Audience
Licensed Ham radio operators for hospitals, clinics, and skilled nursing facilities in Sonoma County, and licensed Ham radio visitors.

Event Description
In preparation for a critical event and ongoing preparedness exercises, the Sonoma County Department of Health Services is hosting a monthly Healthcare Ham Radio Net.
During this Ham Radio Net, facility operators will participate in a role call.
Part One: Please view a 5-minute video to learn how to participate in a Ham Radio Net.

Part Two: Please tune in at 1200 hours every second Wednesday of the month to frequency 146.730 (or Channel 2 on your ham radio) and stand by for roll call. When your facility is called upon during roll call, you will need to answer with:
- Your facility name (call station)
- Your call sign (use phonetic alphabet)
- Your first name
Part Three: Please view a 6-minute video to learn how to operate a Kenwood TK-7180 ham radio.

Objectives
Event participants will be able to:
- Receive an overview of how a ham radio net functions.
- Become familiar with ham radio procedures on a net.
- Practice setting up their ham radios.
