Juvenile InstitutionsSonoma County Probation operates three residential juvenile institutions: Juvenile Hall, Probation Camp, and Sierra Youth Center. Juvenile Hall is a detention facility for offenders under 18 years of age. Also operated through the Juvenile Hall are a Community Detention Program (Home Detention and Electronic Monitoring) and a Juvenile Correction Program. Probation Camp is a 24-bed residential treatment program providing services to delinquent young men. Also operated through the Camp are a Transition/Community Step Program, a Home Treatment Program, and the Supervised Adult Work Crew Program. Sierra Youth Center is a 22-bed residential treatment program for delinquent girls. Also operated through Sierra Youth Center are a Juvenile Weekend Work Crew Program, a Dog Training Program to assist the disabled, and an Aftercare Program. |
