Business Assistance Program

The Business Assistance Program for Storm Water in the County of Sonoma is intended to provide technical support for small businesses. The goal is to reduce the discharge of pollutants in storm water.

The program is a mandate by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board North Coast Region for storm water and non-storm water discharge requirements, particularly from separate municipal storm sewer systems. To learn the purpose and objectives of the program, see the Storm Water and Non-Storm Water Discharges Overview (PDF).

To request information regarding the responsibilities of businesses to reduce the discharge of pollutants, pollution prevention methods, and BMPs, and guidance material, please e-mail Permit Sonoma Senior Engineer, Reg Cullen or call (707) 565-2502.
