VOLUNTEER WORKDAY JUNE 14TH AT SODA SPRINGS RESERVE

Join Sonoma County Regional Parks on Saturday, June 14th from 10am – 2pm for a volunteer workday and park interpretative talk at Soda Springs Reserve located just outside the town of Annapolis.
The workday will include the installation of trail signage and the repair of two brick barbecues. Park staff will provide tools, gloves, and refreshments along with sandwiches for lunch. Beginning at 1pm, Peter Baye PhD, a biologist specializing in coastal wetland ecology, will give a talk on park ecology highlighting the redwood and riparian habitats.
Soda Springs Reserve is located at 24700 Kelly Road. Participants can meet at the park or board a free shuttle leaving the Gualala Regional Park parking lot near the Visitor Center at 9:30am. The shuttle will return to Gualala Point Regional Park by 2:30pm.
Gualala Point Regional Park is located at 42401 Highway 1 just south of the Gualala River bridge. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirts.
