NATURAL HISTORY DAY - APRIL 5 AT GUALALA POINT REGIONAL PARK

Join Sonoma County Regional Parks' staff and local naturalists for Natural History Day at Gualala Point Regional Park on Saturday, April 5.
Scheduled activities include:
8:00am - 10:00am
Sea Ranch residents Richard Kuehn, Diane Hichwa, and Connie Schimbor will welcome attendees at the Gualala Point Regional Park Visitor Center for a brief orientation and then lead a leisurely two hour walk through the park to observe the local birds and wildflowers.
10:00am - 12:00pm
Local riparian ecosystems expert Dr. Peter Baye will meet attendees at the Visitor Center and lead them on a walk to observe and discuss Gualala River estuary ecology.
The Visitor Center will be open 8am - 3pm this day only. Gualala Point Regional Park is located at 42401 Hwy 1 in Sea Ranch. Parking is $5 per car. Natural History Day is the first in a series of 20+ free activities in the county's regional parks as part of April's Park Celebration 2008.
