TOLAY FALL FESTIVAL – OCT. 9-12 & 16-19 |
Better than ever in its 3rd year, the Tolay Fall Festival gathers people from around the region for free family fun on a spectacular 1,737-acre ranch outside Petaluma. This year’s festival will provide 8 days of fun, running October 9-12 and 16-19.
Over 12,000 people attended last year, delighting in the Native American Village with demonstrations, “From Earth to You” hands-on children’s area & kiddie corral, Nigh Time Creatures barn with live animals, nature walks and giant straw maze, all returning this year. The festival also serves up a giant pumpkin patch with free Ranger-led hayrides that even those in wheelchairs can enjoy! The harvest of fall goodness includes colorful gourds, mini-pumpkins, unusual squash, multi-colored corn and more!
New this year are two uniquely amazing features – the World Record Pumpkin Seed-spitting Contest that is open to all, and the Snake-Wrangling Grandma from Sonoma, Barbie Hoffman, who rescues rattlesnakes to support her exotic animal rescue, Leaping Lizard Rescue. She will bring many of these live animals to show at the festival.
