GUIDED BEGINNERS' BIRD WALK SPRING LAKE REGIONAL PARK - SUNDAY, MARCH 9 |
Kick off Daylight Saving Time on a beginner's bird walk at Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa. This 2-hour outing, led by members of the local Madrone Chapter of the Audubon Society, will begin at 9:00am on Sunday, March 9th. The two-mile, easy walk is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Participants will meet in the parking lot between the Oak Knolls picnic area and the Children's Memorial Grove - enter off Newanga Ave. and turn right at the dam. Bring snacks, liquids, and wear layered clothing. Also bring binoculars if you have them. Rain cancels. This event is free of charge.
