TOLAY LAKE REGIONAL PARK PUBLIC WORKSHOP #1 - MONDAY, JULY 24 |
The first public workshop on the Tolay Lake Regional Park Project will take place on Monday, July 24, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building located at 1094 Petaluma Blvd South.
During this workshop, Regional Parks staff will introduce the Tolay Lake Regional Park Project to the public and receive initial feedback in order to guide development of the Park Master Plan. Parks staff will present the Project background, including the opportunities, constraints, and restrictions of the Project site, information from existing studies, and the overall Project implementation schedule. This is the first of several public workshops that will be scheduled to correspond with important milestones in the overall Park Master Plan and environmental document preparation process.
The purpose of the Tolay Lake Regional Park Project is to provide recreational opportunities that will be accessible and enjoyed by Sonoma County residents and visitors, balanced with stewardship towards existing natural and cultural resources. This workshop will be held with the assistance of the Tolay Lake Regional Park Technical Advisory Committee.
