SPRING LAKE PARK CLOSED |

Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa, CA is closed to park visitors until further notice due to hazardous conditions resulting from recent flooding.
Floodwaters, rising over the top of the bathhouses at the swim lagoon, have receded into their banks, leaving tons of mud and debris on trails, roadways and parking lots. In addition to the uneven and slippery surfaces, the silt and mud hide dangerous debris posing safety hazards. While park crews work diligently to clean the trails and re-open the park, visitors will not be allowed entrance to any part of the park.
Park officials are hoping to have the park open by Saturday, January 7th for weekend visitors. The trail around the lake, however, will remain closed at the Santa Rosa Creek channel, as large earth-moving equipment needs to be employed to remove the silt and debris left behind by the flooded creek.
Several other County parks are also currently closed due to flooding. Conditions change on a daily basis. For information on the current status the parks, please contact the Regional Parks main office weekdays at (707) 565-2041.
