SPRING LAKE LAGOON & HEALDSBURG VETERANS MEMORIAL BEACH CLOSING DATE |
The Sonoma County Regional Parks Department announces the end of the swim season at both Spring Lake Park swim lagoon and Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach. The swim areas will be closed for the season effective Monday, September 12, 2005.
Spring Lake Park in Santa Rosa will continue to offer boat rentals on the weekends from the concession stand as long as weather permits. Call (707)538-3608 to verify that the concession stand is open. The concession stand is located adjacent to the swim lagoon. Now is the ideal time to walk, roller blade or bicycle the park’s miles of paved trails, go fishing, or spend the night in the wooded campground. The day-use fee will be reduced to the off-season price of $4 per vehicle.
Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach, at 13839 Old Redwood Highway, will remain open for picnics, fishing, and bird watching. Day use fees are $4 per vehicle. Annual park passes are available for $55.
