KEY REQUIRED FOR ACCESS TO HUDEMAN SLOUGH BOAT LAUNCH IN SONOMA |
Sonoma County Regional Parks announces that Hudeman Slough boat launch, closed recently due to excessive vandalism and dumping, has re-opened. The park is now accessible with a key issued by the parks department.
Hudeman Slough boat launch, located at 28020 Skaggs Island Road in Sonoma, offers visitors fishing access and a boat launch. In an effort to eliminate the previous problems with vandalism and dumping, public access to the park is now available only through a permit and key system. There is a $15 refundable deposit required to secure a key to the park, and a permit must be filled out. Keys are available from the Sonoma County Regional Parks’ main office by calling (707) 565-2041 or by coming to 2300 County Center Drive, Suite 120A, in Santa Rosa. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays.
