PLEASE JOIN SONOMA COUNTY REGIONAL PARKS AND AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION
AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT TO PRESERVE AND RESTORE TOLAY LAKE RANCH Every
October, over the past fifteen years, the public has enjoyed the Cardoza's Pumpkin
Festival at the beautiful and historic Tolay Lake Ranch. The Open Space District
has acquired an option to purchase the Ranch and we have the opportunity to permanently
preserve it as a Regional Park. Our agencies' combined goals are to: - Restore
the last remaining freshwater lake in the entire San Pablo Bay area,
- Preserve
the nationally-significant cultural resources located on this property, and
- Provide
unique recreational and educational opportunities.
An additional $9
million in funding is still needed to purchase the property and your help and
support are needed in the upcoming weeks! Please join us at the upcoming community
meeting and visit our website to learn about how you can help. Public tours of
the property are also being scheduled: COMMUNITY MEETING Wednesday
