SUBJECT:ANNUAL COUNTY PARK PASS PROMOTION APRIL 1 – JUNE 30

Get much more for your recreation dollar when the Sonoma County Regional Parks Department presents their ‘Park Pass Promotion’ April 1 - June 30, 2004. The Park Pass offers unlimited day use access to all 40 Sonoma County Regional Parks for a full 12 months. ‘General’ passes cost $50, ‘Golden Years’ passes (60+ yrs.) cost $20 and ‘Access’ passes (for the permanently disabled) cost $15.

Park enthusiasts get much more for their money with the special offers available only during the 3-month promotion. Working in partnership with local businesses, the Regional Parks Department presents the following FREE offers during the promotion:

  • $25 off outdoor gear rental at REI in Santa Rosa
  • 2 FREE nights of camping in any of the 5 Regional Park campgrounds
  • Up to $25 in discounts on bikes and gear from RINCON CYCLERY AND THE BIKE PEDDLER/NORCAL BIKE SPORT
  • $10 off a kayak rental/purchase at WINDTOYS
  • FREE 1-hour boat rental at Spring Lake Park Concession.

During the promotion, the Park Pass is available at all 12 Longs Drugs stores in Sonoma County, and REI, Rincon Cyclery and the Bike Peddler/NorCal Bike Sport in Santa Rosa, or at any staffed Regional Park entry station. General passes may also be purchased online at www.sonoma-county.org/parks.

The Regional Parks offer ocean and river access, boating and fishing facilities, supervised swim areas, grassy meadows and woodlands, group picnic areas, multi-use trails for equestrians, hikers, cyclists and walkers, as well as tennis courts and play fields.
