Failure to comply with policies, rules and regulations may result in eviction from the campground and/or a loss of paid fees. It is the responsibility of the reservation holder to make sure that all members of their camping party are informed of and comply with all rules and policies.

Important Information

  • Campsites do not have utility hook-ups.
  • Specific sites are not guaranteed, usually due to weather.  However, park staff will try to honor your request.
  • Fees are subject to change without notice.

Campground and Reservation Rules

  • Access Pass holders must present a valid Access Pass upon registration at the park to receive discounted rate.
  • Sonoma County residents must have proof of residency to receive discounted rate
  • Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
  • Dogs are permitted so long as they are physically controlled on a leash no longer than 6 feet, at all times. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. A fee will be collected per dog, per night.
  • Fires are permitted in designated BBQ's and fire rings. No fires on open ground. No wood gathering. Bundled wood is available for purchase.

Individual Sites:

  • A maximum of 8 people are allowed at each individual campsite at anytime. (includes children)
  • A household may reserve a maximum of two (2) campsites per park per visit.
  • Disabled accessible sites may be reserved only for individuals requiring specific access accommodation.
  • Discounts must be presented at time of reservation.  Discounts cannot be applied after reservation has been processed.
  • Camping fees include one (1) vehicle per site as well as a towed vehicle or trailer.  A maximum of two (2) vehicles (trailers, automobiles and RV's) may be parked at most campsites.  Campers will be charged an extra vehicle fee per additional vehicle per night subject to availability.  Extra vehicle parking is limited at all parks.
  • Only one email address allowed per household - not to be used by other customers.

Group Sites:

  • Camping fees include fifteen (15) vehicles per site. Campers will be charged an extra vehicle fee per additional vehicle per night subject to availability.  Extra vehicle parking is limited at all parks.

Stay Limits

  • Campers may stay at Spring Lake Park up to 20 nights per calendar year with a maximum of 10 nights during the summer season (May 1st - Sept. 30th) and 10 nights during the winter season (Oct. 1st - April 30th).
  • At Doran, Gualala Point, Stillwater Cove and Westside Parks, campers are permitted to stay up to 30 nights in a calendar year. A camper may stay 10 consecutive nights at a campground. Once this consecutive night limit has been reached, the campground must be vacated and no one in the party may return to camp in the same park for 24 hours.

Check In/Check Out

  • You may check in after 2:00 pm on the day of your reservation.
  • Campsites will be held until 12:00 noon the day after the reservation arrival date.  If the park staff or reservation agents are not notified prior to that time, the reservation will be cancelled and all paid fees will be forfeit.
  • Upon arrival at the park, present your confirmation and proof of eligibility for any discounts taken at time of booking.
  • Specific sites are not guaranteed, usually due to weather.  However, park staff will try to honor your request.
  • Check out time is 12:00 noon on your departure date.  Please clean up the campsite before leaving.  The next camper will appreciate it.

Cancel

Individual Sites: To cancel a reservation call (707) 565-2267, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (excluding holidays); no later than the original arrival date. If a reservation is cancelled at any time the first nights camping fee, the reservation fee and any change fees are forfeit for each site. 

Group Sites Cancellation: To cancel a reservation call (707) 565-2267, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (excluding holidays); no later than the original arrival date.  If a reservation is cancelled at anytime the reservation fee and any change fees are forfeit for each site.  The forfeiture of camping fees varies depending on how many days in advance the reservation is cancelled.

- less than 30 days in advance: forfeit the first nights camping fee
- 30 to 89 days in advance: forfeit 50% of the first nights camping fee
- 90 or more days in advance: no forfeiture of camping fees

Change/Move

Individual Sites: To change or move a reservation call (707) 565-2267, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (excluding holidays), at least one day prior to the original arrival date. A non-refundable change fee will be collected for each move or change per campsite altered. Any new dates chosen need to be at least 10 days out from the date the change is made and within the same calendar year.

Changing Reservations After Arrival

Campers may be able to change their campsite or add nights after arriving at the park. Check with park staff about possible changes.

A partial refund of camping fees may be available subject to the approval of the Supervising Ranger. Campers must notify park staff of early departure prior to leaving the park.

No Show

Campsites will be held until 12:00 noon the day after the reservation arrival date.  If the park staff or reservation agents are not notified prior to that time, the reservation will be cancelled and all paid fees will be forfeit.
