2009-10 Christmas Tree Collection

CHRISTMAS TREES ARE RECYCLED INTO MULCH AND COMPOST, which is highly prized for its acidic qualities. Please take advantage of one of the three convenient recycling methods available to you.

Place your unflocked tree in your yard waste container and place on the curb on your regular yard waste collection day. The tree MUST be CUT TO FIT inside the container (4 foot or less sections, please). Trees sticking out of the container can interfere with the lifting arm on the truck. Please remove all lights, tinsel, ornaments, and stands. Thank you for your help.

Healdsburg, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa and Windsor have whole tree collection. Place your unflocked tree beside yard waste container on your regular collection day the dates of:

Healdsburg: January 4, 2010 – January 22, 2010

Unincorporated: Please visit www.unicycler.com

Outside of listed days, place tree in yard waste container; cut the tree to fit. Please do not bag your tree.

Residents may take up to two trees to any of the following drop-off locations at no charge. Fees apply for businesses.
