and diversification of economic activity and strengthening the County's

Business Environmental Alliance
A business-driven community partnership coordinated by the Sonoma
County Economic Development Board which centers on the use of business-to-business
communication to promote voluntary good environmental practices
as a means toward improved financial improvement.
Energy Independence
Our program provides financing strategies for home and businesses, enabling owners to apply whole house energy improvements which improve the property value, stimulate the economy, and create jobs for our community.

Innovation Council
The Innovation Council is a broad-based group of business and community leaders appointed by the Board of Supervisors that will oversee the development of an economic strategic plan for Sonoma County. The plan will be designed primarily to create actionable strategies to help ensure a viable business climate and a healthy economy in the coming decade, with an emphasis on workforce development, global competitiveness, and efficient use of natural resources.
Business Assistance Guide
This guide was developed by the Economic Development Board in September
2000 to link small business owners and managers to resources that
will aid them in starting or growing their businesses.
Commercial Recycling
With the passage of AB 341 (Jobs and Recycling) on October 6, 2011, businesses are required to recycle effective July 1, 2012.

Crimecrushers
Crimecrushers is a new program of education and training in crime
prevention techniques for Sonoma County businesses. Established
by the Business Crime Prevention Task Force in conjunction with
public safety departments throughout the county, the business community,
and the Sonoma County Economic Development Board

A public/private venture combining resources in a one-stop employment
and training center for job seekers, employers and workers.
