Programs include: SonomaWORKS2227 Capricorn Way Suite 100 Provides employment assistance, training and benefits to families applying for or receiving cash assistance as part of the County's welfare-to-work program. Job Link2227 Capricorn Way Suite 100 Job Link is a collaborative of over 30 programs in a one-stop employment and training system for employers, job seekers and workers. Job seekers have access to services for job search and career development, labor market information, and a variety of resources and referrals. Sonoma County Workforce Investment Board (WIB)The Sonoma County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is a policy body that provides oversight to Job Link; SonomaWORKS, WIA and Welfare-to-Work funded programs; and special grants to ensure access to services, not only those funded by WIA, but to all services available to address the employment and educational needs of the customer. The Workforce Investment Board members represent local business, labor, education, One-Stop partners, and community groups. Additionally, a Youth Council oversees the Youth services program available at six sites throughout the county.
