  • Job Link
Job Link is a collaboration of over 30 programs that link into a one-stop employment and training system for employers, job seekers and workers. Facilities are located at Challenger Way in Santa Rosa, and Job Start at the Paulin Building in Santa Rosa. Job seekers have access to self-directed and staff-assisted services for job search and career development, labor market information, and a variety of resources and referrals. Business and industry are served in the system through the Employer Resource Center located at the Employment Development Department’s office on Healdsburg Avenue in Santa Rosa. Employer services include referral of pre-screened job applicants and small business development assistance.

Through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Job Link provides training and intensive job search activities to economically disadvantaged adults and dislocated workers as part of the One-Stop system. Specialized services to youth are also provided by contracted service providers located throughout the county.

  • Sonoma County Workforce Investment Board (WIB)
The Sonoma County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is a 45-member policy body that provides oversight to Job Link; SonomaWORKS, WIA and Welfare-to-Work funded programs; and special grants to ensure access to services, not only those funded by WIA, but to all services available to address the employment and educational needs of the customer. The Workforce Investment Board members represent local business, labor, education, One-Stop partners, and public interest groups. Additionally, a Youth Council oversees the Youth Education & Employment Services program available at six sites throughout the county.
