Confidential HIV testing in Sonoma County is now more widely available than ever before!
Get tested by your regular doctor or primary care provider.
As of January 2009, California law allows medical providers to bill insurance for HIV tests as they would for any other health screening. If you are a Kaiser member, you may go directly to the lab and request an HIV test without a prescription from your doctor.
Contact Drug Abuse Alternatives Center (DAAC).
DAAC provides drop-in confidential or anonymous HIV and Hepatitis C testing at low or no cost at 2403 Professional Drive in Santa Rosa every Monday from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m. Other hours are also available on Friday evenings. You do not have to be a treatment client to receive testing services at DAAC. You can call (707) 544-3295 x342 for more information.
Contact Face to Face.
Face to Face provides Rapid HIV Testing for a $15 suggested donation to cover the cost of testing. Confidential and anonymous testing is offered Tuesday afternoons from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Results are available in 20 minutes. The office is located at 873 Second St. in Santa Rosa. For questions call (707) 544-1581 and ask to speak to the receptionist.
Contact your local community-based organization or clinic.
