Mental Health Services for Youth and Families

Seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) children and adolescents to age 18 are served by a system of care that includes County staff working in partnership with Schools, the Valley of the Moon children's home, juvenile health services at Los Guilicos, and community partners.

  • Crisis intervention and stabilization
  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication monitoring
  • Enhanced mental health services for youth in residential care
  • Therapy
