Dads Make a Difference

photo of coupleDads Make a Difference is a program for the fathers (or expectant fathers) of children born to teen mothers. Males 16 years and older are provided parenting, education and vocational opportunities through a collaborative of agency partnerships. The goal is to promote responsible fatherhood and increase self sufficiency.

Young fathers practice nurturing parenting techniques, receive individualized hands-on training in education and vocational areas, and can progress into job internships and placements. Services are provided in partnership with California Parenting Institute.

Participants will discover how involved dads make a difference in the financial security and emotional well being of their child.
