Education & Training
The following training and education programs are designed to provide MRC volunteers with the skills necessary to function as a part of the MRC.
Hand Hygiene Training Module
This training module is designed to provide licensed MRC volunteers with the knowledge and tools to successfully conduct hand hygiene presentations for elementary school children in a classroom setting. All licensed MRC volunteers who participate in the hand hygiene program are required to view this training module prior to being scheduled for their first presentation.
Grand Rounds at Public Health
All Medical Reserve Corps volunteers are cordially invited to attend the monthly Grand Rounds held at Public Health, 625 Fifth Street, Santa Rosa on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Find out more by visiting the Public Health Online Training University. Space is limited so be sure to register for the event using the online signup form. One (1) continuing education unit is available for currently licensed nurses.
