Where to Get Vaccinated
Persons with health insurance are encouraged to contact their health care provider about getting an H1N1 flu vaccination.

Public Health is offering 2009 H1N1 flu vaccinations on Saturday, November 21st to these priority groups:
- Anyone who lives in a household or provides daily care to an infant less than 6 months old.
- Children and young adults ranging from 6 months to 24 years old.
- All pregnant women.
- Adults ages 25 to 64 who have an underlying medical condition that puts them at risk from flu complications.
- Health care workers and emergency medical personnel.
If you do not fit into one of these priority groups, you may be asked to wait until more vaccine becomes available later this season.
Public Health is offering no cost 2009 H1N1 flu vaccinations at one location in Sonoma County on Saturday, November 21st:

The vaccine available on November 21st:
- H1N1 flu shot with preservative for adults and children
- Preservative-free H1N1 flu shot for pregnant women
- Intranasal spray for healthy people age 2 to 49 years of age
The Sonoma Health Alliance is again sponsoring Flu Shot Saturday on Saturday, December 5th at locations throughout Sonoma County (English) (Spanish) (pdf). Seasonal and 2009 H1N1 ("swine flu") shots will be provided for all individuals, including children (at least 6 months of age) and pregnant women. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
