The Disaster Preparedness for Vulnerable Populations (DP4VP) work group meets every other month to discuss emergency planning and response for a wide range of vulnerable populations in our community and the agencies that serve them.
We ask participating agencies to provide 24-hour contact information for up to three persons at the agency, so that critical information can be quickly shared when necessary. Please review the Agency Emergency Contact Information Form (pdf) for details.
To join us, please contact Richard Ruge at rruge@pacbell.net.
The DP4VP workshop is a collection of disaster planning tools for use by agencies that provide care to vulnerable persons, such as the medically frail or persons with physical, mental, developmental disabilities. These materials can be used in whole or in part to enhance the disaster planning efforts agencies engage in with their clients.
