The Septic Tank/Chemical Toilet Waste Pumping & Disposal Program provides for the permitting, monitoring and surveillance of any persons engaged in the business of cleaning septic tanks, chemical toilets and vaults and the removal and disposal of the contents thereof within Sonoma County.

Following receipt, review and approval of a permit application, the Environmental Health Division issues permits to septic tank and chemical toilet waste pumpers, monitors the condition of the equipment and the disposal methods and locations used by the permit holder.
