Notice of Scheduled Office Closure

Sonoma County Department of Health Services will be Closed: December 23, 2011 - January 2, 2012

Offices will Fully Reopen on January 3, 2012

Most offices of the Department of Health Services will be closed beginning Friday December 23, 2011, and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012. This closure is due in part to mandatory unpaid leave for employees - one of several cost saving measures adopted to balance the budget and preserve essential county services throughout the year.

While most Department of Health Services offices will be closed, the following essential services will continue to be available during this time:

• Substance Use Testing: (707) 565-7460
• Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) including limited medication support services: (707) 576-8181 or (800)746-8181
• Animal Care and Control: (707) 565-7100
• WIC Program/Support for New Mothers: (707) 565-6590
• California Children's Services (CCS): (707) 565-4500
• Public Health Laboratory services: (707) 565-4711
• Vital Statistics/Birth and Death Certificates: (707) 565-4407 (new service hours)
