Notice For Annapolis Transfer Station: Medium Volume Transfer/Processing Facility Registration Permit

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in compliance with AB1497 and California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 27, Section 21660 to 21660.4, that the Sonoma County Environmental Health and Safety Section, Solid Waste Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) will be holding an informational meeting to review changes made to the Registration Permit for the Annapolis Transfer/Processing Facility SWIS #49-AA-0364. Annapolis Transfer/Processing Facility is located at 33549 Annapolis Road, Annapolis, CA, 95412.

The LEA is certified by the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to enforce state laws and regulations at solid waste sites in the County of Sonoma. The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), located at 2300 County Center Drive, Suite B 100, Santa Rosa Ca. 95403 submitted a Registration Permit application, to the LEA, on October 3, 2011. On October 12, 2011, the LEA deemed the application complete and correct and accepted for filing by conforming to CCR Title 14, Sections 18000-18104.9.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the determination made by the LEA regarding the Registration permit for the Annapolis Transfer/Processing Facility. The Annapolis Transfer/Processing Facility proposes to:

• Change public operation hours from Friday through Tuesday 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to Wednesday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No other changes are proposed.

A copy of the Registration permit application package is on file and available for public review during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, at the LEA office located at 625 5th Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. The meeting will take place Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Annapolis Transfer Station located at 33549 Annapolis Road, Annapolis, Ca 95412.
