The Sonoma County Department of Health Services is pleased to be a lead sponsor of the 19th Annual Latino Health Forum. Over the years the Latino Health Forum has been an important medical conference in Sonoma County, continually addressing timely issues that affect the specific health care and acculturation needs of our Latino community.

This year the forum will address issues focusing on raising healthy children in our community. Workshops include: dietary factors and metabolic syndromes in the Latino community; early childhood experiences and relationships that can affect mental health in later years; causes of dental disease and how it is transmitted; interactive roundtable discussions for students on the challenges and strategies to achieve a college and graduate education in medical fields.

For the complete conference schedule and to register, please download the conference brochure (pdf), or visit the Latino Health Forum website.
