Mission Statement

The mission of Administration is to support the mission of the Department of Health Services by facilitating the effective and efficient delivery of services at each of the Department's organizational units and work sites through assisting with planning and policy development, reporting performance against identified standards, coordinating administrative functions and systems, advocating for health issues, and resource development.

The Administration Division includes the various functions that support the operation of all programs within the Department of Health Services. This division also includes the office of the Director of Health Services and is responsible for the fiscal administration of the County Medical Services Program (CMSP), and the coordination of two MediCal Programs.
