Film Support in Sonoma County

The Sonoma County Film Office has partnered with Creative Sonoma to house a directory of experienced production individuals and organizations/enterprises that support film production in Sonoma County.

TAX CREDITS FOR FILMMAKERS

The State of California has an incentive program to increase filming in California. Please visit the  California Film Commission website for up-to-date information about available tax credits.

SONOMA COUNTY FILMING BY THE NUMBERS

 In 2017, the Film Office facilitated 84 permits, which resulted in 184 days of filming and an economic impact of $4.81 million dollars into the County. This represents a 33% increase compared to economic impact activity in 2016.
