Business Expansion and Relocation
The staff of the EDB provides support and assistance to businesses located
in or relocating to Sonoma County. In partnership with all the Cities
and the local business community of Sonoma County, the EDB can help businesses
take full advantage of all that Sonoma County has to offer.

Site Selection Assistance
The EDB can provide you with information and referrals on available
land and buildings in the Sonoma County region.
Key Contacts
We work closely with City, County, regulatory agency and utility decision-makers
and staffs. We can assist you in connecting with a wide variety of public
and private contacts and resources.
Business Retention
The EDB works with state and local organizations to help retain businesses
in Sonoma County. Through a system of partnerships, the EDB can mobilize
the resources and expertise to address and help resolve the challenges
facing a Sonoma County business.
Industrial Development Bonds
In partnership with the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, the Economic
Development Board (EDB) offers a financing resource to help manufacturing
or processing firms in local business expansion. Known as Industrial Development
Bonds (IDB), this program is offered in cooperation with a variety of
financial institutions and may provide ways to help companies obtain more
favorable financing including interest rates considerably below standard
commercial lending rates; long-term loans with no balloon or prepayment
penalty; $10 million maximum borrowed amount. For more information, go
