What should I do if I receive a Summons and Complaint, and Proposed Judgment?

Answer

You should call the Department of Child Support Services within 30 days of receiving the legal documents and request an appointment with the assigned caseworker. You will need to bring the following documents to the appointment:

• Copy of your last tax return
• A completed Income and Expense Form (green form) that you received with the legal documents.
• Pay stubs for the last three months.
• Your parent or guardian if you are under 18 years of age.
