Question 22Doesn't the other parent have to let me see my child if I'm paying support? AnswerThe court establishes visitations, not the Department of Child Support Services. Visitation and support are separate issues. If you wish to establish visitation or if the other parent is not living up to the court ordered visitation, you will need to file a motion with the court. Do not stop paying support. If you are having problems with visitation, you should consult a private attorney, or you may want to contact the Sonoma County Superior Court, Family Law Division, located at 600 Administration Dr., Room 108J, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, (707)565-1100. < Back to List of Frequently Asked Questions
