What is my responsibility as an employer?

Answer

When you are served with a National Medical Support Notice (NMSN), you must begin to maintain health insurance coverage for the employee's dependents named in the order, if health insurance coverage is available, within 20 days but not later than 40 days. The cost of health insurance is in addition to the child support amount ordered.
