I have been deducting child support from an employee's wages on an Order/Notice from your office. Now I have received a support levy from Franchise Tax Board (FTB) for 50% of the employee's wages. What do I do?

Answer

If the Order/Notice from our office was received first, you should continue to send support to us. You should send the FTB any money remaining up to 50% of net. You should also inform the FTB that you have a prior Order/Notice from our office. You should also inform our office and we may also contact FTB to release their 50% levy.
