¹At the time of conversion, all existing TANF (Temporary
Assistance to Needy Families) arrears will become Permanently Assigned
arrears owed to the county, up to the amount of total aid paid (TAP) in
public assistance to support the family. Any amounts over the TAP will
become Never Assigned arrears.
