DISTRICT ATTORNEY VICTIM ASSISTANCE AT COMMUNITY FESTIVALS

The Sonoma County District Attorney Victim Assistance Center will have informational booths at two events this weekend: The Family Expo, September 19-21 starting at 10 a.m., and the Racial Equality Week Festival, September 21 from Noon to 4:30 p.m.

District Attorney Passalacqua said, “Raising awareness through community involvement is an important role of our Victim Assistance Center.  It is fitting to do so at both of these events, which are aimed at improving our community’s quality of life.” 

It is a family fun weekend at the Fall Home Show and the Family Expo on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sept 19, 20, and 21 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. At the Family Expo everyone will enjoy the fun with lots of events and activities for the kids. Just one low price ticket gets you into both great shows.

Racial Equality Week and Festival begins September 14 with activities including educational events, programs in the schools, and seminars. The week closes with a multi-cultural festival at Finley Community Center featuring information booths, entertainment, and food from our ethnic communities that make Sonoma County such a wonderful place to live.
