CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HONORS DISTRICT ATTORNEY PASSALACQUA
FOR LEADERSHIP IN JUSTICE

Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce recognized Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua and a number of other community leaders for making a positive difference in our communities.

The Excellence in Leadership awards recognized community leaders who best exemplify the leadership qualities of vision, service, and effective collaboration in creating a better Sonona County for everyone. Other leaders recognized were Steve Olson, from Santa Rosa Junior College, for Agriculture; Supervisor Tim Smith for Government; Executive Director Naomi Fuchs, from the Southwest Community Center, for Health Care; David Goodman , Executive Director of Redwood Empire Food Bank for Human Services; Superintendent of Roseland School District, Gail Ahlas, for Education; Ron Nersesian, of Agilent Technologies for Business and Economy; Pete Golis, retired editor of the Press Democrat for Public Relations, Media and Communications; Santa Rosa City Councilwoman Jane Bender, for Quality of Life/Natural Resources; and Hugh Futrell of Hugh Futrell Corporation, for Planning and Development.

District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua said, "I’m very honored to be included with such a distinguished group of individuals. We are able to make a difference in our community only by working in a collaborative manner with our public safety partners and numerous non-profit organizations. I’m also very fortunate that I have a very dedicated staff in our office who care deeply about victims’ rights, holding violent criminals accountable, and crime prevention."
