CHARGES FILED AGAINST SEBASTOPOL CITY OFFICIAL

Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua announced today that one misdemeanor count of vandalism, Penal Code Section 594(a), has been filed against Linda Kelley, who is a member of the Sebastopol City Council. This charge carries a maximum of one year in the county jail and a maximum $10,000 fine. In addition, the court can order restitution for any damages.

This case involves the vandalism of a truck parked on a residential street in Sebastopol on August 5th, 2007.

The case has been set for arraignment on October 10, 2007, 10:30a.m., Department 7.
