District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua announced today that Henry John Kremer, age 49, pled guilty to two counts of committing lewd and lascivious conduct against a child under the age of fourteen.
The crimes took place over a period of time between January and August of this year when the victim was twelve years old. Kremer, who had befriended the victim’s family during the previous four years, was also known to be a wrestling coach. He committed some of the crimes on the victim when he was demonstrating “wrestling moves.”
The defendant entered his guilty pleas just prior to the commencement of a scheduled preliminary hearing. Kremer is to be sentenced on January 10, 2007. He faces a maximum sentence of ten years in state prison. The judge also appointed a psychologist to examine the defendant and prepare a report for the court to consider at the time of sentencing.
Deputy District Attorney Marianna Lehr is the prosecutor assigned to this case.
